Keith McCoy began his business career in the 1980's at McCoy Petroleum Corporation, a family owned independent oil and gas exploration and production company headquartered in Wichita, Kansas. Beginning in 1997, Keith and his partners recognized the need to diversify into the real estate world. From this period was born the first of many commercial real estate ventures, including a full service commercial property mangagement firm - McCoy Property Management (MPM), where Keith has served as President ever since. Over the years, MPM has continued to acquire and operate commercial property in the Wichita area, including the Tenant-in-Common "TIC" structure. Eventually, MPM's operating base expanded into the Colorado market, with properties in Denver, Boulder, Idaho Springs, Vail, Aspen and Meeker. Major tenants include Starbucks, Washington Mutual, H&R Block and many others. McCoy Property Management has consistently ranked in the top 20 of Wichita property management firms with over 250,000 SF managed - commercial, retail, industrial, multi-family, and mini-storage.

In 2007, Keith, along with the rest of McCoy Realty Group, decided to take advantage of their experience and love for the Colorado and Front Range market, and create a full-line residential real estate firm to compliment the commercial operations already in place, including the addition of a residential mortgage brokerage service, with home offices now based in Denver.
